Pack the Bus and Food Drive 2019!Standard for NJJCL Convention 2019Pack the Bus 2016Latin Club teamed up with Autism Club to throw Clearview's very first Fall Festival for the special needs children. Students from both clubs stayed after school to help decorate, set up, and attend the party themselves. There was food, drinks, dancing, and fun for everyone!

Eastern State Penitentiary 2016Latin Club takes on the horror that is Eastern State Penitentiary! Shrieks of horror and laughter were heard the whole night!

NJJCL BowlingThe NJJCL went bowling at Pin-o-Rama on February 19th! We celebrated the Latin bowling and had fun!

Ice SkatingThe NJJCL went Ice Skating on January 29th and had lots of fun! Many other schools came as well to help celebrate the classics!

Blood Drive 2016The Blood Drive was a huge success! We collected over 146 pints of blood! The power went out and we all had a huge snow storm but we mustered through it! Thank you for the Emily and Miranda Pollock and Andrew String for all of their hard work.

Pack the Bus!Clearview raised 2700 lbs of food and $500 for Food Bank of South Jersey from early October to late November.

Certamen at ClearviewClearview Latin Club invited Boy's Latin from Philadelphia to help practice Ceratmen! We talked about Nationals and becoming more involved with the JCL.

Venus de VolleyballOn November 2, 2015 Clearview Latin students attended the Southern Regional meeting at Gateway High School. After the meeting a large majority of the students played in the volleyball tournament. Clearview tried its hardest and did very well. There was also games including Twister.

HalloweenOn October 28th, 2015 Clearview Latin students had a fun time partying in the Senior Cafe. Students wrapped the mummy, played crosswords and bingo. Some students fared much better in the mummy wrapping than others (as you can see in the pictures). The winners of each game got to pick from a selection of fabulous prizes. Students also took part in talking about mythology including stories of Zeus and Hera.

Scavenger HuntOn September 30th, 2015 Upper Level Clearview Latin Club students organized a scavenger hunt throughout the school for the Latin 1 Babies. The hunt included different obstacles and complex puzzles.

FundraisingClearview Latin Club has had a fundraiser night for our Relay for Life Team at Ritas Water Ice. Our team has fundraised over $700 for the American Cancer Society.

Blood DriveClearview Latin Club has collected over 140 pints of blood this year for our annual blood drive. we would like to thank the American Red Cross for helping us in this event!

Community ServiceClearview Latin Club is to helping the community in a big way. We have written letters to hospitalized children, raised over $700 for the March of Dimes Foundation, and collected food for the South Jersey Food Bank.

SaturnaliaClearview Latin Student enjoyed an amazing Saturnalia celebration after-school. Musical Chairs and ordainment making was some of the festivities that took place.

Classics Day @ StockenLatin Certamen Students took a trip up to Stocken College to participate in classics day. While at Stocken students dressed like Romans, talked to some gods and goddesses, and went into testudo formation for war.

National ConventionClearview Latin Club students that went to the 2014 NJCL Convention had a blast! All the students made friends from all across the nation, from Georgia to North Dakota. A large majority of the students also placed top 10 in the nation in many competitions. All the students at Clearview would like to thank Mrs. Pearlman for leaving the trip of a life time to spend time with us! All in all the Clearview Latin Club took all the fun they possibility could at the 2014 NJCL Convention and is ready for the next one to come.

Pompeii ExhibitLatin Club Students took a trip to the Franklin Institute! There, students took a look around to the Pompeii Exhibit. The Students saw everything from jewelry to bodies that were persevered from Mt. Vesuvius. After the Institute, everyone went to the Hard rock Cafe.

Blood DriveOn February 6th Latin Club's annual Blood Drive took place. Upper Level Latin students helped organize the very successful event. Students and Staff all over Clearview donated blood.

Ice SkatingLatin Club Students including some of their friends went ice skating at the Blue Cross ice skating rink at Penn's Landing. While there, they ice skated, ate, and just had a fun old time together. A few students even saw a couple get engaged!

SaturnaliaOn December 17th, 2013 many Clearview Latin Club members celebrated Saturnalia. Students had a jolly old time while playing musical chairs, creating the best ordainment for the Saturnalia bush, and guessing how many M&Ms are in a jar. After students were done with eating and playing games, they stood around the Saturnalia bush and sang modern holiday songs in Latin.

Venus de VolleyballOn November 4, 2013 Clearview Latin students attended a Southern Regional meeting at Pennsauken High School. After the meeting a large majority of the students played their hearts out in a volleyball tournament. After a rigorous 3 matches Clearview made it all the way to the semi-finals. The students that did not participate in volleyball, played multiple games including Twister and Achilles's heel.

Gloucester County Autism Walk 2013On October 5th, 2013 Clearview Latin students participated in a 3-mile Autism Walk at the Riverwinds Community Center. The event helped to build awareness for autism while raising over $40,000.
