News that members of Clearview's Latin club should know about
Food Drive! We Raised Over $1,000!
Thank you to all of you who donated, packed, sold bracelets, and carried boxes around! The food drive was a success! The Food Bank picked up the food - the driver said it was the most anyone has collected all year! We will be told how many pounds we collected later. In addition to the food itself, the Clearview Community has donated a total of $1,021.29! For every $1.00, the Food Bank is able to buy 3 meals. So that means NOT counting all the food we donated, the Clearview Community has raised enough to provide over 3,000 meals to families in need!! That is amazing!

Online State Convention - May 16th
A message on the Online Convention from Corresponding Scriba, Ish Sohal: The NJJCL will be hosting a digital convention on Saturday, May 16th. We will have a general assembly, at which point we will announce some awards, discuss the NJ Senior Classical League, hear officer speeches, share in saying the creed, and more! Election results will be announced. We will also hold a statewide Kahoot, since we are missing out on Certamen and convention testing, a leadership meeting, and have a guest presenter with a STEM catapult building lesson that all can participate in. Clearview Latin Club is extremely passionate about the food drive because it allows us as a club to make it possible for our fellow friends and family within the community to feel reassured that they will have a meal on the dinner table. Every donation makes a difference and will have a great and positive impact on the lives of the families in the community.
